Ordinance 2010-012 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />ORDYNANCE 2011-003 <br />AN ORDYNANCE AMENDING SECTION 1325.01 4F THE Z4NING CODE <br />The A�den Hilis City Co�uncil hereby ordains that Chapter 13, Section 1325.01 of the City Code <br />is hereby aanended as faliows: <br />1325.01 Accessory Stxuctures. <br />Subd. 1 Time of Construction. No accessory structure shall be constructed o� any <br />lot prior to the ti�xae of constz�uction of the pri�cipal structure to which it is accessory. <br />Subd.2 Heig�t. <br />A. R-1, R-2, and R-3 Districts. Accessory structures in the R-1, R-2, and <br />R-3 D�stricts shall not exceed iifteen feet in height or the height of the <br />principal structure to which it is accessory, whichever is lower. <br />B. AlI Other Districts. Accessory structures in a11 otiier Zoning Districts <br />shall not exceed tlie height of the principal structure to which i� is <br />accessory. <br />Subd. 3 Lacation. Accessory structures in the R-1, R-2, ar R-3 Districts shall noi <br />be located nearer the front lat line than the front yard setback line for the principal <br />structi.u-e to which it is accessory. Accessory structures as permitted and regulated in <br />this Code may be located within the rear yard of the principai s�trructure in the R-1 and <br />R-2 Districts. <br />Subd.4 Size. <br />A. R-1, R-2, and R-3 Districts. <br />1. Accessory structures as�ociated with residential uses sha11 not <br />exceed seven hundred and twenty-eight (728} squaxe feet in floar area. <br />Accessory structures associated with non-residential uses shall not <br />exc�ed tvvo thousand one h�andred eighty-four (2, � 84) square feet in <br />floor area; and, <br />2.
