-AVEN HILLS <br /> City of Arden Hills <br /> Ramsey County,Minnesota <br /> Resolution 03-65 <br /> A Resolution Approving a Joint Agreement for the Financing,Operations and Use of the <br /> Ramsey County Public Works/Partners Facility <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has an identified need for a new operations and <br /> maintenance facility, and <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey County is currently constructing a maintenance facility on a <br /> portion of the Twin Cities Army Ammunition plant property; and <br /> WHEREAS, both the City of Arden Hills and the Mounds View School District have <br /> indicated an interest in partnering with Ramsey County to collocate similar facilities; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council convened the Maintenance Facility Taskforce to evaluate <br /> the possibility of a joint partnership with the Ramsey County; and <br /> WHEREAS, after reviewing all pertinent information, the Maintenance Facility <br /> Taskforce unanimously recommended "that Council proceed with partnering with Ramsey <br /> V County on the matter of a joint public works facility as an equity partner with the plans as <br /> currently drafted;"and - <br /> WHEREAS, on June 30"', 2003, the Arden Hills City Council adopted Resolution No. <br /> 03-50, a resolution approving participation in the Ramsey County Joint Maintenance Facility; ; <br /> and <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> ARDEN HILLS,MINNESOTA„ authorizes execution of the agreement attached as Exhibit A, <br /> entitled "A ,Point Agreement for the Financing, Operations, and Use of the Ramsey County <br /> Public Works/Partners Facility." <br /> ADOPTED by the Council this 10th day of November, 2003. <br /> Beverly wsfi,MAYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Michelle Wolfe,ADMINISTRATOR ' <br />
