Colonel Scott St. Sauver <br /> Camp Ripley Post Commander <br /> Colonel Scott St. Sauver is the Post Commander of <br /> Camp Ripley,Minn., a 53,000 acre State of Minnesota <br /> owned training facility, and Commander of the Training - <br /> Support Unit that is responsible for the day to day <br /> operations of Camp Ripley. <br /> St. Sauver began his career by enlisting in the South <br /> Dakota Army National Guard in 1980. While enlisted <br /> he served as a Cannoneer in the 2-147th Field Artillery <br /> "u and later as a Gunner and Section Chief in 1-49th Field <br /> Artillery. <br /> In 1988 St. Sauver attended the Wyoming Officer <br /> Candidate School and earned his commission as a Field <br /> Artillery Officer. <br /> St. Sauver has held numerous positions as a Field <br /> Artillery Officer including: Forward Observer, Fire <br /> Direction Officer,Battery Executive Officer, Battery <br /> Commander, Targeting Analyst and Assistant Battalion <br /> S3 with the 2nd Battalion, 147th Field Artillery. He has <br /> also served as the Tactical Intelligence Officer with the <br /> 147th Field Artillery Brigade. <br /> In 2000 St. Sauver took on the position of AFSCOORD with the 34th"Red Bull"Infantry Division Artillery. <br /> After serving with the Division he was assigned as the Executive Officer for the 1st Battalion, 151st Field <br /> Artillery. He served as the Camp Ripley Deputy Post Commander and then Ist Battalion, 151st Field Artillery <br /> Battalion Commander before assuming his current duties as the Camp Ripley Post Commander. <br /> St. Sauver's military education includes:Army Basic Training,Advanced Individual Training,Primary <br /> Leadership Development Course, Wyoming Officer Candidate School,Field Artillery Officer Basic Course, _ <br /> Field Artillery Advanced Course, Combined Armed Staff Services School and the Command and General Staff <br /> College. <br /> St. Sauver holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Agriculture and Park Management and Masters Degree in <br /> Education from South Dakota State University. <br /> St. Sauver's military awards include: the Bronze Star,Meritorious Service Medal with two Oak Leaf Cluster, <br /> Army Commendation Medal with four Oak Leaf Cluster,Army Achievement Medal,Army Reserve Component <br /> Achievement Medal with six Oak Leaf Cluster,National Defense Service Medal with one Star,Armed Forces <br /> Reserve Medal with Hour Glass and M Device, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary <br /> Medal and Army Service Ribbon. <br /> St. Sauver has been married to Debra for 29 years. They have four children: Christopher,Anthony, Blake <br /> and Ashley and two grandchildren. <br />
