Public Works/Parks and Recreation Report <br />Ms. Olson thanked all the PTRC members that attended the Earth Day Clean Up Event at <br />Tony Schmidt Regional Park. It was a very cold, snowy morning but we managed to <br />still clean up. <br />The City Council approved a grant application through the State Legacy Grant Program <br />for a trail on the west side of Old Snelling from Lake Johanna Blvd. to County Road E2. <br />The City should hear back in July. <br />The Planning Commission has approved the Hazelnut Park land purchase and it will be to <br />Council for approval at their next meeting. <br />6. NEXT MEETING <br />The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. <br />7. ADJOURNMENT <br />Committee Member O'Malley moved to adjourn, seconded by Committee Member Peck. The <br />meeting adjourned at 8:35 p.m. <br />
