MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: <br />June 13, 2011 <br />TO: <br />Mayor and City Council <br />Patrick Klaers, City Administrator <br />FROM: <br />Rebecca Brazys, Deputy Clerk <br />SUBJECT:Recognition of Girl Scout Gold Award Recipient <br />Background <br />Ann Lindberg, an Arden Hills Girl Scout, was recently named a Girl Scout Gold Award <br />recipient. Ann’s project involved collecting childrens’ books as donations, organizing the <br />reading and recording of those books, making a CD of the recorded books, and then donating the <br />books and CD’s, as well as five portable CD players, to a small community library in western <br />Wisconsin where her grandparents live. <br />Requested Action <br />Council recognition of Ms. Lindberg’s achievement. <br />
