EN HILLS <br />Approved: June 13, 2011 <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MEETING <br />MAY 16, 2011 <br />5:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Pro -Tem Fran Holmes called to order the <br />City Council Work Session meeting at 5:03 p.m. <br />Present: Mayor David Grant (arrived at 5:16 p.m.); Councilmembers Brenda <br />Holden, Fran Holmes, and Nick Tamble. <br />Absent: Ed Werner (excused) <br />Also present: City Administrator Patrick Klaers; Public Works Director Terry Maurer; <br />Community Development Director Jill Hutmacher; City Planner Meagan Beekman; <br />Director of Finance and Administrative Services Sue Iverson; and Deputy Clerk Rebecca <br />Brazys. <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Councilmember Holden requested the addition of Item 3.G. TCAAP Information. <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved, Councilmember Tamble seconded, to <br />approve the agenda as amended. Motion carried unanimously (3 -0). <br />2. AGENDA ITEMS <br />A. Round Lake Update <br />City Administrator Klaers explained that City Staff received information from residents that <br />additional testing was being done on Round Lake. Staff invited Mike Fix, U.S. Army, Charlie <br />Blair, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and Deepa DeAlwis, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, to <br />attend this work session to discuss the status of Round Lake testing. <br />Charlie Blair, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, explained that Round Lake is part of the National <br />Wildlife Refuge system. In approximately 1981, TCAAP, including Round Lake, was classified <br />
