Page 3 <br />Plannin Commission ��eetin -- January 9, 1973 Reparter Wal� �armer <br />The Cammission �n a P�biic Hearing �Cas� No. 72-58j r�commended that the <br />counci1 approv� t�e applica�ion by Internat�onal Paper Ca. for a special <br />use permit far the installation and operatio� of a 1,000 gallan propane <br />tank. Their approva� was subject to the use of a fence and/or schr�bery <br />ta improve the overail af an abave-t�e-ground tank. In the Spring, <br />�9i3, International Paper Co. mus� subm�t a sk�tch o� their landscaping �o go <br />around the tank. Durinq thfs discussion, the Cor�nission considered the �ear <br />term requirements (State of Federal} that may neeessitate burial of all <br />storage �anks. <br />Af�er cansiderab7e de�ib�ration, ihe C0��755i0� recomr�ended that the Council <br />approve the overa�l design of Flaherty's BottTe S�op (Case �o. 72-55) <br />subject to final appraval by t�e Commissian and the Cauncii of fina� building <br />p ans an that the liquor sign must be turned off when t�e �iq�or stor� is <br />ciosed. —�f the Council approves th�s request, Flaherty's next ap�roac� will <br />be to apply far an offi-saie liquor llcense. <br />Co�cerning c�anges in Ordinanc� #98 Sec. � and 2(Case No. 72�28), �he <br />Parks and Recreation Committee suf��tte� a report cantaaning the�r recom- <br />me�dat�ons for impraving the dedication of land for parks th�s is required <br />af developers. Rationa�e for �he secondary attendance area proposals <br />was given by Sup�, Witter who voiced his pre�erence. Citizens were giver� a <br />chanc� to express �heir concerns. 7he plan adopted by the Board {attendance to <br />be divided by 35 W ar�d County Rd. E) was chosen because it will keep the juniar <br />high papu3aiion and natural corrmunity areas from being s�lit, b�t possible <br />popula��on growth areas in �he Mo�nds View ar�a mig�t eventually cauSe ioo <br />high a population where the school capa�ity is Iess. <br />
