Subsequently, at a recent Council meeting, Viltage residents living near <br />the lndustrial Park carnplained of a potentia� increased objectiana6le odor fram this and f�rt�re tanks <br />if approvec�. Propane and ot�er similar gases coni�ain a stinfcy, gasenus chemical (a mercaptan) added <br />fcr detection purposes since the gases alone dan`t have much of a detectable oc�ar. �he mercaptan odor <br />apparer►tly car► persist for long intervals dependent upon atmospheric conditions.
