About f9 unih <br />have been proposed on twa streets with one exit #o Snelling. No decisions or recornmencfations were <br />reached; so the �opic will come up c�t a future meeting. <br />At t�e special meeting on Oc#ober 30 #he completed preliminary draft of the Comprehensive Plan wifl be <br />reviewec! (Case No. 72-50). <br />A Comprehensive Park Plan wiil be incarporafied into fihe Comprehensive Village Plan �CQS� Np, 73-3i}. <br />Parks �irec�or Buckley with some assistance fror� Planner Shetfer has been respor�sible for the por�C plan. <br />Ti�e p�an is set fort� so that adequate park area(s) wi31 be set as�de. <br />The Commissian recommends �he park pfan for ap�rova! to the Council in principie except for the amount <br />of acreage. Acreage (60.� acres} abtained thraugh dedication ar cash purchase from Funds acquired in <br />Iieu of dedicatian was considered sufficient; an additiona� 30 acres to be purchased wifik� general funds <br />was thought unn�cessary. ' <br />Concerning park c3eclicatior�, an omenc3ment to 4rdinance No. 98, Sec�ion 10 (b} was recommended by <br />the Commission to the Cour�cil for fiheir approva�. County wanting grode change to Bussarc! Court in case Snelling widened. <br />Council response did not want Snelling widened. Council referred Comprehensive Paric Plan for v'rllage <br />bae�C to Parks $ Recreation Committee. Planning Commission meeting reschedvled to November 8 at 8 pM, <br />Annaurrced Jack Gibbons resigned from Planning Cammission. Water drainage meeting scheduled for 8 PM. <br />on October 25 at Village Hall. S�oreview also wiil be in attendance. Duane Long appointed to Pu�lic <br />Wor[cs Committee.
