�'S1V_.N�HILLS <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: August 8, 2011 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />FROM: Jill Hutmacher, Community Development ment Director J rJ <br />SUBJECT: TCAAP /Stadium Proposal Update <br />On Thursday, August 4, 2011, the City of Arden Hills and Ramsey County jointly hosted an <br />open house to present information on the Vikings stadium proposal. Information was presented <br />on the following topics: <br />1. Traffic and transportation <br />2. Environment and remediation <br />3. Finance and economic development <br />4. Stadium plan and land use <br />5. History of the site and previous proposals for development <br />6. Roles and responsibilities of the City and County <br />Staff from the City, County, and U.S. Army were available for questions. Mayor Grant, <br />Councilmembers, and County Commissioners were also available for discussions with interested <br />residents. <br />Of the 82 people listed on the sign -in sheets, 27 (33%) live in Arden Hills. It is likely that some <br />attendees did not sign in, so actual attendance was probably in the low 100's. <br />Attendees had an opportunity to subscribe to the City's website for e -mail updates on the <br />stadium proposal.
