�fl DEN HILLS <br />Approved: August 8, 2011 <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JULY 11, 2011 <br />7:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor David Grant called to order the regular City <br />Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br />Present: Mayor David Grant; Councilmembers Fran Holmes, Brenda Holden, Ed <br />Werner and Nicholas Tamble. <br />Absent: None. <br />Also present: City Administrator Patrick Klaers; Director of Finance and Administrative <br />Services Sue Iverson; Public Works Director Terry Maurer; and Recording Secretary Tina <br />Borg. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br />motion to Approve the Agenda as presented. The motion carried <br />unanimously (5 -0). <br />2. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br />A. TCAAP and Stadium Proposal Update <br />City Administrator Patrick Klaers stated legislative discussions regarding the stadium proposal <br />appear to have been suspended during the State government shutdown. It is assumed that <br />discussions will resume once a special legislative session is called. At this time, the City has no <br />knowledge of when that might occur. The City and Ramsey County will jointly host an open <br />house to present information to Arden Hills' residents on the proposal to develop a stadium on the <br />TCAAP property. The open house will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., <br />in the Marsden Conference Room at the Ramsey County Public Works Facility. Information will <br />be provided related to traffic and transportation, the environment, land use and site plan, <br />financing, and the roles of the City and County during project approvals and development. <br />Councilmembers and Staff will be available to answer questions. St. Paul passed a Resolution <br />that opposed the financing portion of the Vikings Stadium proposal. They are requesting that <br />
