rAIRT._yILLS <br />Draft <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />PARKS, TRAILS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING — PARK TOUR <br />TUESDAY, JUNE 21, 2011 <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br />CALL MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chair Scott called the June 21, 2011, meeting of the Parks, Trails, and Recreation Committee to <br />order at 5:48 p.m. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Steve Scott, Committee Members Cindy Garretson, Phil <br />Kramlinger, Nancy O'Malley, Don Messerly, Harold Petersen, Rich Straumann, and Chuck <br />Michaelson. <br />OTHERS PRESENT: Park and Recreation Manager Michelle Olson. <br />ABSENT: Committee Members John Peck and Council Liaison Ed Werner. <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />MOTION: Committee Member Messerly motioned to approve the agenda, seconded by <br />Committee Member Garretson. The motion carried unanimously (7 -0). <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES — May 17, 2011 <br />Committee Member Messerly indicated that under Section 3A, page 2, he did not recall being the <br />one to ask about Northwestern College and Bethel University intramural revenues. <br />MOTION: Committee Member Petersen motioned to approve the May 17, 2011 minutes, as <br />amended seconded by Committee Member Straumann. The motion carried <br />unanimously (7 -0). <br />3. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Park Tour <br />The official business meeting adjourned to go on a City park tour. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />MOTION: Committee Member Petersen motioned to adjourn to a park tour at 5:55 p.m., <br />seconded by Committee Member Michaelson. <br />The motion carried unanimously (7 -0) <br />NEXT MEETING <br />Tuesday, July 12, 2011 — All Committee Barbecue at Cummings Park 6:00 <br />g s — p .m. <br />
