Change Order #1 in the <br />amount of $2,728.$0 was appra��ed on June 27, 201 I, increasing tl-�e contract to a revised <br />amount of $ t 6,76b.00 <br />Discussion <br />The pay request includes work ear�-ipleted through August 10, 2011 _ The restoratio� work <br />is comp�ete. <br />Finaneial Implications <br />The table below provides a histary of tne construction costs for the pond excavation: <br />Engineer's Estimate $22,000.00 <br />Original Contract Amount $14,037.20 <br />Ciiange Order #] $ 2,728.50 <br />Revised Contract Amount $16,766.00 <br />Final Contract Amount $16,622.24 <br />The final contract amount is Iess than the revised cantract amo�nt, beeause an herbivore <br />excIus�on fence v�7as to be insialled. This was not placed, however, because a family of <br />ducklings was living an the pond, and this fence would have been detrirnental to their <br />survi�al.
