Staff reviewed the PTRC recommendation and identified some additional changes that would be <br />needed to allow parking on the north side of the road. <br />1. The perennial garden (or a portion of) along the curb of the park frontage will <br />need to be removed. <br />2. The hill area should be re- graded to create an area sufficient for unloading and <br />parking. This may require some retaining walls. <br />3. The yellow paint along the curb will need to be removed. Staff recommends <br />sand blasting. This would need to be completed by an outside vendor. <br />After reviewing the information, Council tabled the item until their December work session for <br />further information. Council requested staff to bring back more details on the cost of the <br />proposed changes, seek neighborhood input and research the history of accidents in this area. <br />Action Requested <br />This item was presented as an update.
