Senator Ortman also directed the Minnesota Vikings to meet with the City of <br /> Minneapolis to help the City narrow its list of three potential sites. That meeting is expected to <br /> occur prior to the December 6, 2011, legislative hearing. <br /> A joint hearing of the Senate Tax and the State Government Innovation and Veterans <br /> Committees will be held at 12:30 p.m. on December 6, 2011. The hearing will focus on potential <br /> funding sources. The agenda includes presentations on arts and cultural funds, Minneapolis <br /> convention center revenue, charitable gaming and electronic pulltabs, racino, sports memorabilia <br /> sales tax,NFL income tax surcharge,ticket surcharge on professional sports, and a Block E <br /> casino (Mayor Rybak has indicated since the agenda was released that Minneapolis is no longer <br /> considering supporting a stadium with revenue from a Block E casino).
