,,-ARVEN HILLS <br /> 9. All sleeping units are to be equipped with a smoke detection device. Individual <br /> unit smoke detectors, upon alarm,to send an addressable notification to a <br /> constantly monitored, (24-7) in house location, such as the current front desk. <br /> 10. Security to immediately inspect/respond and alert fire/police as necessary. <br /> 11. Building security to have emergency procedures reviewed by Lake Johanna Fire <br /> department. <br /> 12. All existing shafts (laundry, plumbing,rubbish chutes) are to either be sealed with <br /> a two hour rated system or a listed and tested opening device. <br /> 13. Pull stations are to be installed at all main exit doors and the doors entering stair <br /> enclosures at each floor. <br /> (remain or change according to NFPA 72) <br /> 14. Elevator to be inspected and tested per current state regulations. (submit letter <br /> certifying testing and compliance) <br /> 15. Installation of a card-controlled building access system. <br /> 16. 24 hour security personnel <br /> 17. All mechanical equipment and life safety devices/equipment,to be inspected at a <br /> minimum, annually. (submit letter certifying testing and compliance) <br /> 18. The building shall comply with the state code for accessibility, in particular <br /> Section 1113 for Alterations and Section 1114 regarding Change in use. Section <br /> 1113.9 requires that at least 20% of the entire project cost goes to accessibility <br /> upgrades. <br /> 19. All sump pumps in building need to be brought into compliance with City Code. <br /> 20. All overflow roof drains that were removed need to be reinstalled per code. <br /> 21. A fire department lock box will be installed near main entrance. Lock box on end <br /> of building will remain installed. Both lock boxes will be provided with keys <br /> determined by the Lake Johanna Fire Department. <br /> 22. The building will need to comply with the Minnesota Statute 299F.50 - Carbon <br /> Monoxide Alarms for multi-family dwellings. <br /> 23. Currently there is no way to evacuate smoke from the second or fourth floor of <br /> structure, provide a means to evacuate smoke from these two floors. Means will <br /> be approved by fire department. <br /> (To remain in the end units) <br /> 24.
