Lake Johanna Fire Department Capital Purchase
Councilmember Holmes questioned why the three budgeted items (tables, chairs, flooring and
chassis) were pro-rated between the three cities. Some of these expenditures were for Station #4
and she thought that Arden Hills pays 100% for expenditures for Station#1.
Director of Finance and Administrative Services Iverson stated this cost sharing for capital
items is based on the agreement between the cities.
Councilmember Holden indicated this would need to be investigated further as she also thought
that the City of Arden Hills was responsible for maintaining Fire Station #1 on its own. She
stated she would bring this item up at the next Fire meeting in July.
