Ramsey County-Wide Emergency Operations Plan Revision 5.1,June,2005 <br /> PLAN REVIEW and CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> The Ramsey County Emergency Operations Plan will be reviewed at least <br /> once every year, on or before November 15. The Ramsey County Director <br /> of Emergency Management will be responsible for coordinating plan <br /> development and maintenance. <br /> Review of the plan consists of evaluating the need for changes in the <br /> document itself; development of new policies, procedures; ordinances <br /> etc.; and changes to the structure of the county Government. To ensure <br /> that the review reflects the needs of the entire county, the Ramsey County <br /> Emergency Management Council (EMC) will conduct the formal review. <br /> The Director of Emergency Management and Homeland Security is <br /> responsible for ensuring that this plan is maintained and updated <br /> regularly. <br /> To ensure the effective implementation of the Emergency Operations <br /> Plan, the Director of Emergency Management will be responsible for <br /> conducting any training or exercises necessary to determine the <br /> effectiveness and sustainability of the plan. <br /> In compliance with Minnesota HSEM policy, the county will conduct <br /> training or exercises in the Four-Year Planning/Exercise Cycle. The cycle <br /> is addressed below. <br /> Year One <br /> • Functional or full-scale exercise <br /> • EMC and Board of County Commissioners review and adoption <br /> • Individual Municipal City Council review and adoption <br /> Year Two <br /> • Functional or full-scale exercise <br /> • RRC/PAC/CAER Group/Local review <br /> Year Three <br /> • Functional or full-scale exercise <br /> • Peer/Public or other review <br /> Year Four <br /> • Functional or full-scale exercise <br /> • HSEM Regional Coordinator review <br /> 28 <br />
