Ramsey County-Wide Emergency Operations Plan Revision 5.1,June, 2005 <br /> Gem Lake Line of Succession <br /> • Mayor <br /> IN.—. • Acting Mayor(selected by City Council persons each year) <br /> • Most Senior Council person <br /> • Other City Council Persons in order of seniority <br /> • City Clerk <br /> Command and Control issues <br /> Law enforcement is by contract with the Ramsey County Sheriff(one of <br /> the Contract Cities) <br /> Fire and Paramedic Services by yearly contract currently with the City of <br /> White Bear Lake <br /> The Mayor is the designated Emergency Services Director. <br /> EOC Activation <br /> EOC Location: <br /> The City of Gem Lake owns no public buildings and does not maintain a <br /> location to use as an EOC. <br /> �- Communications <br /> All public safety services are provided by outside agencies. The PSAP <br /> should directly contact the EMHS Duty Officer in a major emergency in <br /> the City of Gem Lake. Gem Lake has indicated that they will need <br /> immediate help from the County and their contracted law enforcement and <br /> Fire/Paramedic providers. The City of Gem Lake will be totally dependent <br /> on Ramsey County EMHS and directly adjacent Emergency Services if an <br /> emergency happens in the City of Gem Lake. <br /> 63 <br />
