Ramsey County-Wide Emergency Operations Plan Revision 5.1,June, 2005 <br /> EOC Staffing lists are on file with the Mounds View Emergency <br /> Management Director and includes: <br /> • Mayor <br /> • City Administrator <br /> • Emergency Management Director <br /> • Finance Director <br /> • City Attorney <br /> • Public Works Director <br /> • Police Representative <br /> • Fire Representative <br /> • City Planner <br /> Each department/agency that is represented in the EOC is responsible for <br /> ensuring that its representative is familiar with the duties that he/she is <br /> expected to perform at the EOC. (Each department/agency shall develop a <br /> checklist of responsibilities to be carried out by its EOC representative.) <br /> Ramsey County EMHS may be requested to provide a representative to <br /> EOC to coordinate the county's response. Space will be provided in the <br /> EOC for county, state and federal officials, should their presence be <br /> necessary. Such officials will be briefed regularly as to the status of the <br /> disaster. City officials; however, will remain responsible for providing <br /> director and control of the city's response to a disaster. —� <br /> Communications <br /> The Mounds View EOC has the capability of communicating with: county, <br /> other municipalities within the county, local hospitals, state and regional <br /> EOC's, city(field)units, RACES, the county communications van etc. <br /> The Mounds View EOC communications equipment is not protected from <br /> the effects of electromagnetic pulse(EMP). If determined necessary, <br /> Ramsey County will activate its communications van to serve as a <br /> communications link between field forces and the EOC. This van can be <br /> accessed by calling(651) 482-5238, or(651)484-9155. <br /> The primary official authorized to serve as the public information officer <br /> (PIO) for the City of Mounds View is the Mayor or his designee. If <br /> unavailable, the City Administrator or his designee will serve as the <br /> alternate PIO. The PIO will serve as the official point of contact for the <br /> news media. <br /> City government personnel in the field will be responsible for relaying <br /> important information about the emergency/disaster to the PIO. <br /> The PIO will be responsible for disseminating information and instructions <br /> to the public on a timely basis, and will coordinate all city news releases. <br /> 78 <br />
