FEDERAL AND STATE SUPPORT <br /> L <br /> GENERAL <br /> EMHS will assist in obtaining any state or federal government resources that may <br /> be needed as a result of a disaster. In carrying out this responsibility, the director <br /> will contact the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Division of Homeland <br /> Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) regional program coordinator. <br /> This person can provide technical information and assistance, if requested. <br /> An outline of expected state and federal support is detailed earlier in this <br /> plan. A more exhaustive summary of state and federal disaster assistance <br /> that may be available is contained in the Minnesota Emergency <br /> Management Director's Handbook. This document is on file with EMHS. <br /> STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES <br /> A summary of State and Federal programs available to local governments <br /> that are experiencing or have experienced a disaster is contained in the <br /> Minnesota Disaster Management Handbook and the Recovery from <br /> Disaster Handbook.
