Brown Arden Hills City Engineer Date: November 8, 2005 Subject: 2005 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project Pay Estimate#3—Final Payment Background The City of Arden Hills awarded Gridor Construction Inc., of Plymouth,MN the 2005 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project on April 25, 2005 for a total contract amount of$236,758.00. Change Order No. 1 in the amount of$5,716.00 has been requested for approval by the Council and would bring the total contract amount to $242,474.00. Pay Estimate#1 and#2, in the total amount of$199,751.75,has been approved by the Council. Project Status Lift Station #9 Lift Station#9 has been operational for over two months now. Site restoration and driveway paving have been completed. A punch list meeting was performed with the Contractor and the Operations and Maintenance Staff to review the construction site and a list of items was created for the Contractor to complete before the project could be finalized and accepted by the City of Arden Hills. Those items have been completed by the Contractor. Lift Station#4 Lift Station#4 has been operational for approximately a month now. As with Lift Station #9, site restoration and driveway paving have now been completed as the last major work items left. The punch list meeting referenced above included a review of Lift Station #4 as well and a list of work items was created. As indicated above, the punch list needed to be complete before Lift Station #4 was turned over to the City and those items have been completed by the Contractor. Recommendations --� The Arden Hills City Engineer recommends the Council approve Pay Estimate#3,Final Payment for Gridor Construction Inc.,of Plymouth, MN in the amount of$42,722.25.
