Chapter 7 Recreation Areas <br /> Section 700 -Lakes <br /> 700.01 Purpose,Intent and Application. As authorized by M.S.§86B.201 (2),as now in effect <br /> and as hereafter amended time from time,this section is enacted for the purpose and with'the <br /> intent to control and regulate the use of the waters of Lake Johanna (62-78), T. 30, R. 23, S. <br /> 33-34,Ramsey County,Minnesota,a body of water located entirely within the boundaries of <br /> the City,to promote its fullest use and enjoyment by the public in general and the citizens of <br /> the City in particular; to ensure safety for persons and property in connection with the use of <br /> the waters; to harmonize and integrate the varying uses of the waters; to fulfill a demand for <br /> the regulation of the waters as indicated by citizens of the City who responded to <br /> questionnaires circulated by the City as to the need for such regulations; and to promote the <br /> general health,safety and welfare of the citizens of this City. <br /> 700.02 Laws and Regulations Adopted. The Minnesota Waters and Watercraft Safety Laws, <br /> M.S. Ch. 86B, as now existing and hereafter amended from time to time, and the Boat and <br /> Water Safety Rules and Regulations promulgated by the State of Minnesota Department of <br /> Natural Resources, as the same now exist and are hereafter amended, are hereby adopted, <br /> incorporated herein by reference, and made a part hereof as if set forth in their entirety. At <br /> least three (3) copies of the Waters and Watercraft Safety Laws and Boat and Water Safety <br /> Rules and Regulations,so adopted,shall be marked as official copies and filed in the office of <br /> the city administrator. <br /> State law reference-Waters and watercraft safety,M.S.
