EN HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2012-038 <br /> A RESOLUTION RESCINDING ORDINANCE 2012-005 TO LIFT A CITY WIDE <br /> MORATORIUM ON MULIT-FAMILY DWELLING UNITS <br /> WHEREAS, on June 25, 2012,the Arden Hills City Council voted to adopt Ordinance <br /> 2012-005, which put in a place a one year city-wide moratorium on multi-family dwelling units <br /> while the City conducted a zoning study, <br /> AND WHEREAS, based on the results of the zoning study, on September 24th, 2012, <br /> The Arden Hills City Council voted to adopt Ordinance 2012-007, adopting city-wide <br /> regulations for multi-family dwelling units, and by a 4/5 vote directed City Staff to publish a <br /> summary of the new regulations in the Shoreview Bulletin, <br /> AND WHEREAS, a summary of Ordinance 2012-007 was published on October 3, <br /> 2012, and the regulations went into effect on October 4, 2012, the day following publication, <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council directed City Staff to complete the <br /> zoning study and lift the moratorium as quickly as possible. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN <br /> HILLS MINNESOTA: <br /> adopts this resolution authorizing staff to rescind Ordinance 2012-005, and lift the city-wide <br /> moratorium on multi-family dwelling units. <br /> ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS <br /> 29th DAY OF OCTOBER, 2012. <br /> David Grant, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Patrick Klaers, City Administrator <br />
