lt <br /> EN HILLS <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: December 10, 2012 <br /> TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> Patrick Klaers, City Administrator <br /> FROM: Amy Dietl, Deputy Clerk <br /> SUBJECT: 2013 Tobacco License Renewals <br /> Background <br /> The following Arden Hills businesses have requested renewal of their City tobacco <br /> licenses for 2013: <br /> Arden Hills Shell <br /> Arden Hills Tobacco <br /> Big Ten <br /> Blue Fox Inn <br /> Cub Foods <br /> Holiday Station <br /> Walgreens <br /> Fire inspection reports have been completed for each location, and the City has received <br /> the required application forms and Certificates of Insurance. All seven of these <br /> businesses are pending approval based upon successful background checks; which the <br /> Ramsey County Sheriff's Department hopes to have completed by Monday, December <br /> 10, 2012. <br /> The Ramsey County Sheriff conducted compliance checks on all licensed tobacco <br /> establishments on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, and all the tobacco venders passed the <br /> compliance checks performed at that time. <br /> Requested Action <br /> Motion by the City Council to approve the 2013 tobacco license renewals. <br />
