Staff will set up the contract so sewer lines can be eliminated prior to the award of <br /> the contract should there not be sufficient grant funds. <br /> Finally, at the time of the grant submittal, a question was raised by the City Council <br /> regarding a joint sealing project that was undertaken in the southwestern area of the City. <br /> Staff reviewed the most recent sewer televising in this area. It is very clear from the <br /> amount of root intrusion that the joint sealing had very little lasting effect.
