,!r, <br /> ,AUEN HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2013-008 <br /> A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING METROPOLITAN COUNCIL <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES MUNICIPAL INFILTRATIONANFLOW GRANT AND <br /> DESIGNATING THE PUBLICWORKS DIRECTOR AS THE AUTHORIZED <br /> REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has applied for and been awarded grant funds in the <br /> maximum amount of$161,546.00 for capital improvements to the Arden Hills municipal waste <br /> water collection system to reduce the amount of inflow and infiltration to the Metropolitan <br /> Council's sanitary sewer disposal system; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to receive the grant funds the City of Arden Hills is required to <br /> provide to the Metropolitan Council a Resolution which authorizes the City of Arden Hills to <br /> enter into the Metropolitan Municipal Publicly Owned Infrastructure Inflow/Infiltration Grant <br /> Program Grant Agreement-Construction Grant for the Arden Hills 2013 Inflow/Infiltration <br /> Improvement Project ("Agreement"), the Certification required thereunder, and all other <br /> documents referred in said Agreement; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Arden <br /> Hills hereby ratifies and approves the Agreement, authorizes the City of Arden Hills to undertake <br /> the I/I Municipal Grant Program and Project referred to in the Agreement and authorizes and <br /> empowers its Mayor and City Administrator to enter into and execute the Agreement, <br /> Certification and all other documents referred to in the Agreement, on behalf of the City, and to <br /> perform or direct the performance of all other actions necessary to consummate the requirements <br /> of the City of Arden Hills under the Agreement. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Arden Hills Public <br /> Works Director is hereby designated as the authorized representative for the Project who is <br /> authorized to provide certifications required in the Agreement and submit pay claims for <br /> reimbursement of the Project costs. <br /> ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS <br /> 28th DAY OF JANUARY,2013. <br /> David Grant,Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Patrick Klaers, City Administrator <br />
