The council authorized publication of 500 marketing
brochures, not to exceed $5,000.00, including assistance for graphic design
presentation. The Council thanked the Economic Development Committee and
gave a special thanks to Chair McCallum for all the efforts in putting together
the brochure.
It was decided that the brochure should contain at least three (3) letters from
business included in the brochure instead of one(1). Chair McCallum is going
to contact some of the recognizable organizations such as; CPI, Land O'Lakes,
St. Paul Metal Craft etc., to see if he could obtain a letter from these businesses
to include in the brochure. Mr. Ringwald is going to contact the businesses
whose photographs are used in the brochure to make sure that the use of the
photographs are approved by those companies. When all the necessary
corrections are made the brochure will then go to a graphic design consultant
• where they will review and put into sort order. The pages of the brochure may
change once the information is sorted in the appropriate spaces, this may affect
the original bid of the printer, if so new bids may be warranted.
