Introduction <br /> The DTED Business Tracking Report(BTR) examines the dynamics of business growth and decline in Minnesota,providing a <br /> better understanding of the process of job creation and of the competitive position of the various regions of the state. The BTR <br /> documents the ebb and flow of business activity, in Minnesota by tracking business start-ups and failures, and major expansions <br /> and contractions around the state. <br /> While net employment change statistics are wide/ available and very us�(ut, they do not reveal the "chunung" of business <br /> activity as jobs are created and lost in the econonhy.
