Attachment C Attachment C Ordinance 2013-003 STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF ARDEN HILLS ORDINANCE 2013-003 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, SUBD. 3 AND CHAPTER 6, SUBD. 5 (A) OF THE CITY CODE The Arden Hills City Council hereby ordains that Chapter 10, Subd. 3 of the City Code shall hereby be amended as follows: 1000.21 Meters and Hydrants. Subd. 3 Meter Accuracy Testing. A consumer may have his or her meter tested for accuracy by making written request and submitting required fee (see fee schedule appendix to City Code) to the City Administrator. In the event the test shows an error exceeding the percentage specified in the of the water allegedly consumed, the deposit shall be refunded to the consumer and a correctly-registering meter shall be installed, with the bill to be adjusted in accordance with the corrected reading. If there is no error or the error is less than the percentage specified in the , the deposit shall be retained by the City. Any adjustment shall not extend for more than one billing period before the date of the request for test. The deposit charges for meter testing shall be as established from time to time in a resolution adopted by the Council. The Arden Hills City Council also hereby ordains that Chapter 6, Subd. 5 (A) of the City Code shall hereby be amended as follows: Subd. 5 User Fees; Notice. A. An alarm user owning an alarm system which precipitates or reports more than two (2) false alarms to the City in a single calendar year shall be charged a user fee per false alarm in excess of two (2) false alarms in a calendar year, and a user fee per false alarm in excess of ten (10) false alarms in a calendar year. Effective Date . This Ordinance shall become effective the day following its publication. th Adoption Date.
