' <br /> SUBJECT: Monthly Repot 1, <br /> The following is a brief lot of staff contacts over the past several weeks. <br /> 1. Arby's\Sbanro <br /> A plan including 4,400 square foot Arby's\Sbarro and a 7,500 square foot automative retail <br /> center has been presented in concept to staff. The proposal would be located north of <br /> Shannon Square. No formal application has been received. <br /> 2. Grocery Store <br /> Staff has also been in contact with a grocery chain interested in the above-mentioned <br /> property. Staff has been facilitating discussions between all interested parties to accommodate <br /> a larger redevelopment project. <br /> 3. CSM\Dvnamai k <br /> The Planning Commission has recommended approval of the 32,000 square foot phase H <br /> building. The phase I building is progressing nicely towards completion. <br /> 4. Arden Plana <br /> Frattalone's Ace Hardware is planning an expansion to their facility in the Arden Plaza. They <br /> will be moving into the old grocery store site and moving their corporate offices here. <br /> 5. Manufacturing CompM <br /> Staff has been meeting with a Twin Cities Manufacturer who wishes to relocate their <br /> Corporate Headquarters\Manufactuiing Facility to the Gateway Business District. The facility <br /> would provide an 80,000 square foot facility on an approximately 10 acre site. <br /> 6. Warehouse Fac7iity <br /> Staff has been in contact with a representative of a Fortune 500 company who is relocating to <br /> the Twin Cities area. They are evaluating sites in the North Metro Area adjacent to <br /> Interstate 694 which could accommodate a 200,000-300,000 square foot warehouse <br /> distribution facility on 12-15 acres. <br /> • <br />
