Legislative Update <br />The Governor has placed an appropriation request in his biennial <br />Economic Development that totals $20 million. This number could hen an updated <br />budget is released later this week; staff will present an update at the next meeting. A map of <br />transportation improvements and a Gantt chart showing on and off-site transportation costs <br />were distributed to Commissioners. <br /> <br />Update on Cleanup of TCAAP site <br />Based on information from the General Services Administration (GSA), staff estimates a mid- <br />April closing on the property. Bolander has a limited authority to proceed and will start on th <br />south side of the site. Heavy equipment will be moved behind the fence off County Road H <br />prior to road restriction implementation.The County will include information regarding this on <br />the website for communication to the public. <br /> <br />Official Address <br />Arden Hills has assigned 2020 Highway Avenue to the site for official purposes during the <br />clean-up. This will be a temporary address that will likely disappear-platted <br />and development occurs. <br />Security for TCAAP <br />Sheriff Bostrom has added site security to the various duties ofovernight. <br />During daytime hours, Bolander will be responsible for security. <br />County Sheriff, so the emergency response will cover TCAAP as we <br />handled by the City of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />Communication and Information <br />A website has been created for the project: www.tcaap.net. <br /> <br />Environmental and Recycling <br />In addition to the soil remediation to a residential standard, t <br />re-use and recycling of thousands of pounds of steel, timber and building materials e <br />site or in other locations.
