lt <br /> �- N HILLS <br /> Approved: April 8, 2013 <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS,MINNESOTA <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> JANUARY 28,2013 <br /> 7:00 P.M. -ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor David Grant called to order the regular City <br /> Council meeting at 7:03 p.m. <br /> Present: Mayor David Grant, Councilmembers Brenda Holden, Fran Holmes, Dave <br /> McClung, and Ed Werner <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also present: City Administrator Patrick Klaers; Public Works Director Terry Maurer; <br /> Community Development Director Jill Hutmacher; City Planner Meagan Beekman; and <br /> Deputy Clerk Amy Died <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> 1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Werner seconded a <br /> motion to approve the meeting agenda as presented. The motion carried <br /> unanimously (5-0). <br /> 2. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br /> Rebecca Synder, 737 Second Avenue NW, discussed the need for a sidewalk along Valentine <br /> Road to increase safety for students. She presented the Council with a handout and suggested an <br /> additional tax bracket to cover the expense. <br /> Mayor Grant and Councilmember Holden thanked Ms. Snyder for her presentation. <br /> A. Recognition of Years of Service and Employee of the Year <br /> Mayor Grant recognized Kyle Howard for his service to the City of Arden Hills and presented <br /> him with an award naming Mr. Howard the Employee of the Year for the City. <br />
