ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL FEBRUARY 25, 2013 3 <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Werner seconded a <br />motion to approve the January 14, 2013, regular City Council meeting <br />minutes and the January 22, 2013, City Council work session minutes as <br />presented. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />5. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />A.Motion to Approve Consent Agenda Item - Claims and Payroll <br /> <br />B.Motion to Approve the Eureka Recycling Contract Renewal <br /> <br />C.Motion to Approve the Safety Committee Policy <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br />motion to approve the Consent Calendar as presented and to authorize <br />execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />6. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />7. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />8. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />9. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />10. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember McClung <br /> reminded <br />offering presales of good, quality trees. He indicated that people may purchase trees for their own <br />yards or donate trees to the City. He stated that more information is available via brochures at <br />City Hall or by visiting their website at www.FriendsoftheParks.org . He noted that the tree sale <br />ends on Friday, April 19. <br /> <br />Councilmember Werner <br />noted that MnDOT is holding an open house on Wednesday, March 6 <br />from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Fridley Community Center to discuss I-694 improvement plans. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden <br /> stated that in regard to the Ramsey County Friends of the Park tree sale, <br />City staff will update the website with information about the Ctree needs should <br />anyone be interested in purchasing and donating trees to the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
