Ordinance 2013-004 <br /> B. Violation of laws relating to disorderly conduct as defined in <br /> Minnesota Statutes 609.72. <br /> C. Violation relating to the sale of intoxicating liquor as defined in <br /> Minnesota Statutes 340A.701, 340A.702 or 340A.703. <br /> D. Violation of laws relating to prostitution or acts relating to prostitution <br /> as defined in Minnesota Statutes 609.321. <br /> E. Violation of laws relating to unlawful use or possession of a firearm as <br /> defined in Minnesota Statute 609.66 et seq. on the registered premises. <br /> F. Violation of laws relating to assault, including domestic assault as <br /> defined in Minnesota Statute 609.2242. <br /> G. Violation of laws relating to contributing to the need for protection or <br /> services or delinquency of a minor as defined in Minnesota Statute 260C, <br /> etc. seq. <br /> H. Violation of laws which prohibit gambling as defined in Minnesota <br /> Statute 609.75 through 609.76. <br /> 335.06 Violation. Except as provided in Section 335.03, Subd. 1 A-C, any person that <br /> maintains a rental unit without having the required Rental Unit Certificate or after the Rental Unit <br /> Certificate for the property has been revoked or suspended, or who permits new occupancy in <br /> violation of this Chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor. <br /> 335.07 Authority. Nothing in this Chapter shall prevent the City from taking action under any <br /> applicable rule, standard, statute or ordinance for violations thereof and to seek either injunctive <br /> relief or criminal prosecution for such violations as therein provided. <br /> 335.08 No Warranty by the City. By enacting and undertaking to enforce this Ordinance, <br /> neither the City, its designees, the City Council, or its officers, agents or employees warrant or <br /> guarantee the safety, fitness or suitability of any dwelling in the City. Owners or occupants <br /> should take whatever steps they deem appropriate to protect their interests, health, safety and <br /> welfare. A warning in substantially the foregoing language shall be printed on the face of the <br /> rental registration. <br /> 335.09 Severability. If any provision of this Chapter or amendment thereto, or the <br /> application thereof to any person, entity or circumstance, is held invalid or unconstitutional by a <br /> court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this Chapter shall remain in full force and effect <br /> and the application thereof to other persons, entities or circumstances shall not be affected <br /> thereby. <br /> 335.10 Non-City Regulations. Nothing in this Chapter shall prevent owners or homeowner <br /> associations from enacting regulations more restrictive than those adopted by the City. The City <br /> Page 5 of 6 <br />
