Those projects are:

Mounds View High School Trail Connection
- Ramsey County Parks and Recreation
and the Mounds View School District have no identified funding for this trail. The
Elmer L. Andersen extension from the culvert off of County Road E2 to Mounds View
High School is tentatively scheduled to be done in 2016. The County and School
District should be consulted as partners in this project.

County Road E Trail
The City applied for STP Funding for a trail on County Road
E/Lake Johanna Blvd. from the County Road E to Tony Schmidt Regional Park and the
Tony Schmidt Regional Park. The City was not awarded funding and finished in the
middle of the projects in scoring. There is no funding identified for this segment. The
County Road E bridge is being redone in 2015. It may make sense to complete this at the
same time as the bridge.

Highway 96 North Sidewalk (Hamline to Highway 10)
- After the construction of
Highway 96 and 10 is complete, there will be a gap in the sidewalk from Hamline to
Highway 10 on the north side.

Requested Action

Staff is asking for the PTRC to review the proposed Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
Projects for 2014-2018 and give feedback on any changes or potential additions.
22
Page of
