<br /> <br /> NEW BUSINESS 8-B <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br /> <br />DATE: <br />June 24, 2013 <br /> <br /> <br />TO: <br /> Honorable Mayor & City Councilmembers <br /> Patrick Klaers, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: <br />Jill Hutmacher, Community Development Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Planning Case #13-008 <br /> Applicant: <br />Bob Revoir for Mutual Service Life Insurance Company (aka Country <br />Financial) <br />Property Location: <br /> 2 Pine Tree Drive <br />Request: <br /> Zoning Code Amendment and Conditional Use Permit <br /> <br /> <br />Requested Action <br /> <br /> <br />1.Approve Ordinance 2013-007 in Planning Case 13-008 to amend Section 1320.05 of the <br />Zoning Code regarding Schools for Higher Education, as presented in the June 24, 2013, <br />report to the City Council. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Approve publishing a summary of Ordinance 2013-007. <br /> <br /> <br />3.Approve Planning Case 13-008 for a conditional use permit (CUP) at 2 Pine Tree Drive <br />to allow a higher education use as a tenant in the office building located at 2 Pine Tree <br />Drive, based on the findings of fact and submitted plans, as amended by the conditions of <br /> <br />approval as presented in the June 24, 2013, report to the City Council. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The City has received a proposal from Bob Revoir, Cushman & Wakefield, to obtain a CUP to <br />allow a higher education use in the office building located at 2 Pine Tree Drive in the B-2 Zoning <br />District. Mr. Revoir is a real estate broker representing Country Financial.
