NIGHT TO UNITE 2013 <br /> - PROCLAMATION <br /> S CITY OF ARDEN HILLS NIGHTOUNITE! <br /> Neighbors Joining Together <br /> WHEREAS, the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association, along with AAA of Minnesota / Iowa is sponsoring <br /> a nationwide crime prevention program on Tuesday, August 6th, 2013, entitled"Night to Unite"; and <br /> WHEREAS, the "Night to Unite" provides a unique opportunity for the City of Arden Hills to join forces with <br /> thousands of other communities across the country in promoting cooperative, police-community crime <br /> prevention efforts; and <br /> WHEREAS, Arden Hills plays a vital role in assisting the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department through joint <br /> crime prevention efforts in Arden Hills and is supporting "Night to Unite 2013" locally; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is essential that the citizens of Arden Hills be aware of the importance of crime prevention <br /> programs and the impact that their participation can have on reducing crime in Arden Hills; and <br /> WHEREAS, police-community partnerships, neighborhood safety, awareness and cooperation are important <br /> themes of the "Night to Unite" program; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mayor David Grant, and WE, Council Members, Brenda Holden, Fran Holmes, Ed <br /> Werner, and Dave McClung, DO HEREBY CALL UPON ALL CITIZENS OF ARDEN HILLS, RAMSEY <br /> COUNTY, to join the RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT the MINNESOTA CRIME <br /> PREVENTION ASSOCIATION AND AAA OF MINNESOTA / IOWA in supporting the "Night to Unite" on <br /> Tuesday, August 6th, 2013. <br /> FURTHER, LET IT BE RESOLVED THAT I, Mayor David Grant, and WE, Council Members, Brenda <br /> Holden, Fran Holmes, Ed Werner, and Dave McClung, do hereby proclaim Tuesday, August 6th, 2013, as <br /> "Night to Unite" in Arden Hills, Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br /> CITY at l <br /> Mayor, David Grant <br /> Council D r, Brenda Holden Council Memb r,;Dave Holmes <br /> Co it Member, Ed Werner ember, McClung <br /> -71 '2) <br /> DATE <br />
