Options The findings in this report currently support approval of this variance. Notice Although a variance does not require a public hearing, a public meeting notice was prepared by the City and mailed to properties within three-hundred fifty (350) feet of the subject property. Resident Comment The City has not received any comments from neighboring residents. The applicant did submit letters from neighbors from the previous variance application from 2007, in support of the project (Attachment A) Deadline for Agency Actions The City of Arden Hills received the completed application for this request on February 4, 2013. Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute, the City must act on this request by April 5, 2013 (60 days), unless the City provides the petitioner with written reasons for an additional 60-day review period. The City may extend the review period beyond the 120 days, with the applicant’s permission.
