MEMORANDUM <br />5.A <br />DATE: <br />May 8, 2013 PC Agenda Item <br /> <br />TO: <br /> Planning Commission <br />FROM: <br />Meagan Beekman, City Planner <br />SUBJECT: Report from the City Council <br />April 15, 2013, City Council Work Session <br />The City Council directed staff to move forward with the purchase of the tax forfeited property <br />located at 3208 Hamline Avenue N. The property was formally approved for subdivision by the <br />Planning Commission in 2008, as the Christianson Estates Plat. <br />The City has closed on the triangle parcel located at 3151 Lake Johanna Boulevard. The City <br />Council directed staff to move forward with installing the City’s first gateway sign at this <br />location and landscaping the site. Staff is working with a landscape architect to design the <br />landscaping plan and it is anticipated that work will be completed on the site and the gateway <br />sign installed in June. <br />April 29, 2013, City Council Meeting <br />The City Council unanimously approved a contract with Kimley-Horn for the AUAR, Master <br />Planning, and Regulations and Policies for the TCAAP site in an amount not to exceed $426,004. <br />The City Council awarded a contract to repaint the south water tower located on Red Fox Road. <br />The Council directed staff to move forward with adding logos to the tower as part of the <br />repainting process. <br />City of Arden Hills <br />Planning Commission Meeting for May 8, 2013 <br />P:\Planning\Planning Commission\CC Reports\05-08-13 - PC report - CC report.doc <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
