The City contracted directly with Electric
Pump Company to provide these items for Lift Station #1 and #12. The City Council awarded
Magney Construction, Inc., Lift Station #1 and #12 Improvements on April 30, 2012, including
the forcemain replacement at Lift Station #12 in the amount of $291,620.00.

Discussion

This project was generally complete in late 2012 but retainage was not released pending the
growth of the turf in 2013. Now that all restoration has been accepted and all required
paperwork has been submitted by the contractor, the final retainage is being released.

The project was awarded to Magney Construction, Inc., at a price of $291,620.00. There was
one added item for lowering the forcemain at LS #12 in the amount of $3,200.00 due to a
changed site condition. This brought the total contract to $294,820.00. Releasing the final
retainage of $5,896.40 brings the total payment to Magney Construction, Inc., to $294,820.00.

12
Page of
