AttachmentA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2013-009 <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2013-009 <br /> <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING THE DEFINITION, PURPOSE, LAND USE CHART, <br />DISTRICT REQUIREMENTS CHART, AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE <br />POS PARKS AND OPEN SPACE DISTRICT <br /> <br />The Arden Hills City Council hereby ordains that Section 1305.04 Subd 140 shall be added and <br />subsequent subdivisions renumbered accordingly; Section 1320.04 Subd 18 shall be added; <br />Sections 1320.06 and 1320.07 and its subdivisions are hereby amended; and Section 1320.145 <br />shall be added to the Arden Hills City Code to read as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1305.04Definitions. <br /> <br />Subd. 140 <br /> Park Facilities. The use of any lots or parcel of land and any structure or <br />building thereon for public active and passive recreation purposes by the Arden Hills <br />Parks and Recreation Department or the Ramsey County Parks and Recreation <br />Department. <br /> <br /> <br />1320.04Purpose of Districts. <br /> <br />Subd. 18 <br /> POS Parks and Open Space District. <br /> <br /> <br />A.To establish regulations that will support the Arden Hills Parks, Trails, <br />and Open Space Plan and the Ramsey County Parks and Recreation <br />System Plan. <br /> <br /> <br />B.To provide an area for publicly owned lands that have recognized outdoor <br />recreational or open space resources. <br /> <br /> <br />C.To support community health through the provision of active and passive <br />outdoor recreational opportunities. <br /> <br /> <br />D.To promote natural and ecological stewardship. <br /> <br /> <br />E.To conserve vital environmental resources. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 1 <br />
