T - AW T T! Shoreview Rondo Community Land Trust Foreclosure Prevention Meetings Are you or anyone you know about to lose their home to Foreclosure? Representatives from the Rondo Community Land Trust will be available at Shoreview City Hall on the following days to have one on one meetings with residents of Ramsey County who may be facing foreclosure. Please make your appointment by calling Greg or Jamie at the Rondo Community Land Trust, 651-221-9884• Where: Grass Lake Room Lower Level Shoreview City Hall, 4600 N.Victoria Street When: s:oo to 8•oo pm on the following dates: February 9th February 2`Ird, March Stn, March 22nd, and April 12th About the program: The City of Shoreview has formed a partnership with the Rondo Community Land Trust (CLT) to assist families facing foreclosure. During difficult economic times, when people face challenges like unemployment or medical crises, nonprofits like Rondo CLT can help individuals directly, which helps stabilize and build healthy communities. Rondo CLT's Foreclosure Prevention Project is for people who want to stay in their homes and are willing to give up some of the future appreciation in the value of the house in order to do so. Rondo CLT's Foreclosure Prevention Project may be able to help negotiate with the lenders so that households that are at risk of losing their home can afford to make their payments. In addition, Rondo CLT is able to provide limited grant funds to make the mortgage more affordable and to address deferred maintenance issues (i.e. roofs, plumbing, upgrading electrical systems and insulating walls and attics).
