lt <br /> ,- RENHILLS <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: March 12, 2012 <br /> TO: Honorable Mayor and Councilmembers <br /> FROM: Jill Hutmacher, Community Development Director :7# <br /> SUBJECT: B-2 District—Corridor Advisory Committee <br /> At the January 30, 2012, City Council work session meeting, the Council directed staff to contact <br /> all property owners in the B-2 District to inquire whether they would be interested in serving on <br /> the Corridor Advisory Committee (CAC) for the B-2 Implementation Plan. <br /> Staff has contacted all property owners in the district, either through site visits, or through phone <br /> and e-mail contacts if the property owner does not have a local office. The City has received <br /> applications for the CAC from the following individuals: <br /> Wally Anderson—Wallace J. Anderson, DDS <br /> Harald Borrmann— Senior Vice President, Catholic United Financial <br /> Theodore Brausen—Owner, Brausen's Shell and Repair <br /> Jon Commers—Advisor, Arden Square, LLC (alternate CAC member: Joe Commers— <br /> Shareholder, Arden Square, LLC) <br /> Daniel Flaherty—President/General Manager, Flaherty's Arden Bowl <br /> Kara Frank—Property Manager, Arden Plaza, LLC <br /> Randy Hagerty—Property Manager, Country Financial <br /> Jay Higgins—Owner, Fourth Dimension Architectural Signage <br /> Bolton& Menk originally suggested that three to five property owners be appointed to the CAC. <br /> Staff has contacted Bolton& Menk to confirm that a larger number of business representatives <br /> would be acceptable. Bolton& Menk would like to schedule the CAC kickoff meeting as soon <br /> as possible, probably in late March or early April. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Staff recommends that the City Council appoint the following individuals to the Corridor <br /> Advisory Committee for the B-2 Implementation Plan: <br /> City of Arden Hills <br /> City Council Meeting March 12, 2012 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
