ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 28, 20133 <br /> <br />Work on the regulations and policies will accelerate as details of the Master Plan emerge in late <br />2013 and early 2014. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Hutmacher <br /> commented that Staff was working with the St. <br />November. The event will be very similar, in terms of information presented and the land use <br />exercise, to the September 17, 2013, TCAAP open house. The purpose of the event is to engage <br />young professionals in the master planning process. <br /> <br /> <br />B. Transportation Update <br /> <br />Assistant City Engineer Anderson <br />provided the Council an update on the US 10 and Highway <br />96 road construction project. He indicated MnDOT, Ramsey County and Shafer Construction <br />have been extremely busy trying to wrap up the US 10/Highway 96 and I-694 projects. He <br />reviewed several photographs of the paved roadways and discussed the progress of each project. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant <br /> asked if there would be a trail under I-694 along Old Snelling. <br /> <br />Assistant City Engineer Anderson <br /> stated this roadway would allow for a trail outside of the <br />roadway on either side. <br /> <br />Councilmember McClung <br /> questioned when the roadways would be open for use. <br /> <br />Assistant City Engineer Anderson <br /> commented the contractor has told MnDOT that the <br />roadways would be open as per the schedule in November. <br /> <br />4.
