ARDEN HILLS SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION NOVEMBER 12, 20138 <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden <br /> suggested that the Council consider the entire expense of treating the <br />significant ash trees due to the fact that the injections would take place over the next several years <br />and are not guaranteed. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant <br />agreed stating that the Council should begin looking at which trees should be <br />treated and which should be removed and other trees replanted. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Maurer <br /> stated that staff could report back to the Council with a <br />recommendation for the 43 park trees that are candidates for treatment. <br /> <br /> <br />D.Sandeen Drive Parking Issues <br /> <br />City Administrator Klaers <br /> asked if residents have previously been given permission to park <br />overnight on Sandeen Drive. He commented that this roadway is extremely narrow and that <br />parked vehicles are becoming a safety concern. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden <br /> did not recall any approval of permitted parking along Sandeen Drive. <br /> <br />The Council recommended that staff draft letters to be sent to residents in this area stating that <br />overnight parking along Sandeen Drive is not allowed. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Mayor Grant adjourned the City Council work session at 9:42 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />__________________________ __________________________ <br />Patrick Klaers David Grant <br />City Administrator Mayor <br />
