ADMINISTRATION <br />Function: General Government <br />Supervisor: City Administrator <br />Fund #: 101 <br />Activity#: 41300 <br />Activity Scope <br />City Administration provides the overall direction of the City, as determined by the City Council. <br />The City Administrator serves as Chief Administrative Officer for the City, ensuring that laws, <br />ordinances, and resolutions of the City Council are enforced and implemented. The <br />Administration Department is responsible for administering Council policies, coordinating <br />Council agendas, and providing support to other functional areas within the City. <br />The City Attorney acts as an advisor to the Council and staff on legal matters and represents the <br />City in the legal actions. He prepares the contracts, ordinances, legal opinions and legal <br />documents needed for the operation of City government. <br />As the City progresses further with the TCAAP Property and is partners with Ramsey County <br />the TCAAP department to more accurately reflect the costs of supporting this development. This <br />will result in a decrease in Personal Services in the Administration department. <br />City Engineer services have historically been provided by the City of Roseville.
