ORDINANCE NO.2013-011 <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2013-011 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ADDING THE DEFINITION,PURPOSE, LAND USE CHART, <br /> DISTRICT REQUIREMENTS CHART,AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE <br /> POS PARKS AND OPEN SPACE DISTRICT <br /> The Arden Hills City Council hereby ordains that Section 1305.04 Subd 140 shall be added and <br /> subsequent subdivisions renumbered accordingly; Section 1320.04 Subd 18 shall be added; <br /> Sections 1320.05 and 1320.06 and its subdivisions are hereby amended; and Section 1320.145 <br /> shall be added to the Arden Hills City Code to read as follows: <br /> 1305.04 Definitions. <br /> Subd. 140 Park Facilities. The use of any lots or parcel of land and any structure or <br /> building thereon for public active and passive recreation purposes by the Arden Hills <br /> Parks and Recreation Department or the Ramsey County Parks and Recreation <br /> Department. <br /> 1320.04 Purpose of Districts. <br /> Subd. 18 POS Parks and Open Space District <br /> A. To support the Arden Hills Parks Trails and Open Space Plan and the <br /> Ramsey County Parks and Recreation System Plan. <br /> B. To provide an area for publicly owned lands that have recognized outdoor <br /> recreational or open space resources. <br /> C. To support community health through the provision of active and passive <br /> outdoor recreational opportunities. <br /> D. To promote natural and ecological stewardship., <br /> E. To conserve vital environmental resources. <br /> 1 <br />
