ARDEN HILLS PLANNING COMMISSION January 8, 2014 10 <br /> <br />Community Development Director Hutmacher discussed the proposed improvements that would <br />be made by the County to County Road E. <br /> <br />Chair Larson asked if the Commissioners had any other concerns regarding the request. <br /> <br />Commissioner Bartel stated his only concern with this Planning Case was the limited <br />landscaping on the south side of the building and how this property was keeping with the B-2 <br />design standards with regard to landscaping. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Bachler stated there was not sufficient right-of-way for additional plantings on <br />this side of the building. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Hutmacher explained that when the building was pushed <br />closer to the corner, a certain amount of space was eliminated that could have been used for <br />landscaping. She encouraged the Commission to not fault the applicant for this. <br /> <br />The motion carried (5-1) (Bartel opposed). <br /> <br /> <br />
