<br /> Significant Accomplishment <br />2.- Often an employee is charged with the responsibility or <br />assumes the responsibility of completing a significant goal, activity, or project. <br />Frequently the completion of such a project has a major impact on the operations of the <br />department or the City as a whole. This category recognizes employees for such <br />accomplishments. <br /> <br />The ERC announced the Employee of the Year at an all employee luncheon on Thursday, <br />January 23, 2014. The 2013 Employee of the Year is Pam Sweeney of the Finance and <br />Administrative Services Department. The following are a few of the comments included on the <br />nomination for Pam: <br /> <br />Pam Sweeney <br /> Finance and Administrative Services Department, Customer Service <br />Representative <br /> <br /> <br />Consistently dependable and reliable in her duties to the City of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />Very dedicated to both its staff and citizens of the community and puts forward her best <br />efforts in dealing with the public. <br /> <br />First point of contact for most calls and inquiries to the City. <br /> <br />Among the longest tenured employees of the City with the exception of Public Works. <br /> <br />Takes great pride in her job. <br /> <br />Good example of professionalism of the City to the public. <br /> <br />Taken on the challenge to be a team player who minimizes negative aspects of office <br />environment. <br /> <br />Has chosen to set a good example for others by keeping a positive attitude and be <br />influential in improving departmental issues <br />negative and stressful situations. <br /> <br />Remembers and addresses people by their names; even those who are not regular visitors <br />at City Hall. <br /> <br />Recognition for Years of Service <br />The Employee Recognition Committee recognized two individuals for Years of Service. The <br />policy states that employees shall be recognized for every five (5) years of employment with the <br />City. Employees shall receive a certificate from the City recognizing them for their years of <br />service. The following employees were awarded certificates for achieving these milestones <br />during 2013 and recognized on Thursday, January 23, 2014, at the all employee luncheon: <br /> <br /> <br />Sherri Eisenbraun 5 years of service <br /> <br />Dave Winkel 35 years of service <br /> <br />Requested Council Action <br />The Employee of the Year and Service Award Recipients <br />meeting to receive their awards from the Mayor.
